Dear frnds,
i am having a doubt regarding telescopic fare. Actually i want to travel from pune to balasore via sc. First by 17031 from pune to hyd and then 12704 from sc to bls with a break of about 10hrs. All journey in sleeper. The actual fare from pune to hyd is 185/- and sc to bls is 500/-. So am i eligible for telescopic benefit.

Okk.thanx....so how should i apply at PRS to get this benefit....?? And in actual,fare is total 685/-,then by telescopic how much will be my fare....?? I'll be doing my reservation from Pune PRS....
Here's a sample of how the form has to be filled. Just fill it that way and present it to PRS clerk. Its simple.
The Fare from Pune to HYB by SL Class in 17031 = 285/-
The Fare from SC to BLS by SL Class in 12704 = 500/-
So if booked individually it would be Rs.785/-
