a long distance train...santragachi mangalore vivek express ready to depart from santragachi...this platform is the regular...passengers almost josling to get a seat...train berthed 20 mins before departure...all chances of a harakiri and a stampede in such narrow platforms...

Yes seen before HWH it like yard just similar to Basin bridge just before MAS..Now they are using it as Terminal also and from here line diverts to SHM..
Looks like similar situation of KCVL. More of a yard turned terminal. KCVL luckily has wider PFs
From the looks of it SRC is a disaster waiting to happen . And as usual IR will not be WISE EVEN AFTER THE EVENT :)
