Although ye accurate nahi rahega,lekin travellers ko booking karte waqt ek idea bhar ka to mil jayega.

This feature can be misguiding, more than being helpful. Each day, the occupancy at different stretches and WL in a train are different. There are many other factors such as unused special quotas which determine the confirmation of a ticket. I think similar PNR option is enough to check the history of that stretch in a train.
