I travelled from Delhi to Sambalpur in Hirakud Express on 13th 14th June, 2013. My purse got lost near Bilaspur station. It had few important documents like license and Car RC including credit and debit cards.
I got a call from a farmer in Kotmaar (near kotarliya and Raigarh stations) that he had found my license beside railway track and will send me the same from registered post. I requested him to find the Car RC too, but he could not locate it.
I have blocked Credit card and debit cards....

You missed to file FIR for Theft/Loss ?
File it now or contact RTO for duplicate RC book process.

I am back to Delhi now. So Can I lodge an FIR here for the theft here mentioning required information or should I just say that I have lost it locally to avoid providing details of journey and other queries (why did you go there? what do you do? etc etc). I do not want to disclose my trip due to privacy reasons.
