But already 4 pit lines are available at SUR and new is recently made for SUR-YPR SF.
Not to worry, the first train which start from GR will be GR - MAQ exp via SUR, GDG, UBL, MAO
Yes SUR has 4 pit lines, it doesnt mean Gulbarga should not have Pit lines, already 8 crore is sacntioned for pit lines in Gulbarga, and tender is also called, before announcing Gulbarga division Kharge wants to address all the technical challenges which Gulbarga doesnt have to be a Division. So, pit lines, additional platforms, and shifting of goods shed to Sultanpur station have been sanctioned. So, I believe once the feasibility report is out GR will be made division under SWR :-)
All these years CR and SCR have told due to technical reasons GR will not be made division, so he is addressing those technical issues first, nice move by Kharge ji ....

Absolutely Kumar, Mr Kharge is working very hard in this regard. But GR has one more big concern to become a division: It is surrounded by Divisional HQ's in very short distance, SUR in 110 km, SC in 200 km and GTL in 250 km. So it would be difficult to carve out a new division in middle of these 3 divisions. But it would be great if GR and MAQ are merged with SWR and made divisional HQ's:-)
And I heard from an insider that as soon as pit lane is created in GR, SUR - YPR SF is going to start from GR. So it will be GR - YPR SF :-) But i don't know how much to trust...
