Hi, I tried to book a ticket in Karnataka Exp (12628) from Delhi to Bangalore (The boarding point is Agra). I selected III AC. Though tickets were available it did not allowed me to book. It says select some other train/class/date. When i tried booking the same in IIAC, it detected the amount from my card but again throughs the same error. Though it say the money will be credited back into my account.
I am confused whey it did not allowed me to book the ticket when the tickets are there. If for some rules the ticket cannot be booked then why they have taken the money from my account in advance before checking the rules. Can any one clarify...

agar agra se ticket avl the to aapne ndls se kyu book kiye .......... or nahi to fir aapko agra BP nahi dena tha .... esliye ye ticket book nahi huye
My journey starting point is Agra. Tickets from Agra to Bangalore is waitlist, But tickets were available from Delhi. That's why i tried booking tickets from delhi to bangalore but boarding at agra.
Book the ticket without changing the boarding point. Then go to any PRS with valid ID proof and get the boarding updated to Agra.
