I had a i-ticket booked from IRCTC which was in waitlist.But it did not get confirmed. In such cases, does the ticket get automatically cancelled (and amount credited back thru IRCTC) OR do i have to go to the nearest PRS and have it cancelled.
please note you have mention "I-Ticket". this type of ticket need to be canceled at prs counter only. It will not get cancel automatically. and your refund amount will come to same a/c from which the amount has been debited.
if it remained in wait list after charting it will get cancelled automatically and refund will be processed back to the account used for booking with in 3 working days.
