I wish to travel from Jodhpur to Bangalore via mumbai, madgaon and mangalore. I have identified connecting trains for respective journeys from Jodhpur to Mumbai, Mumbai to Madgaon, Madgaon to Mangalore and Mangalore to Bangalore. As my stay does not exceed 24 hours at any intermediate points, I wish to learn how to get a single journey ticket for it availing telescopic fare benefit.

Thanks, well I believe there is no rule on shortest possible route for availing telescopic fare benefits for CONNECTING TRAINS...????
Not allowed as direct takes 2116kms and route selected by you is around 2680kms. when availing telescopic benefit kms in the route selected by you should not be more than 15% of the direct train connecting the pair of stations by shortest route.
MAO-MAQ-SBC not allowed. More than 15% of shortest route which is MAO-LD-UBL-SBC. Allowed from karwar as SWR runs a direct train.
