As per new refund rules, e-tkts have to be cancelled maximum up to 2 hours of scheduled departure of train, post which no refund will be provided. Now for trains with scheduled departure at around 9:15 AM in morning, if person misses the train in a busy city like Mumbai etc, by reaching late to station by say 30 minutes. Then how can he file the TDR in 2 hours, As we all know that it becomes practically impossible to logon and work on IRCTC between 9:40 AM till 12:00 AM due to tatkal rush.
