More Inter City Train required between Pune to Mumbai.
Almost 1200 - 1500 Buses Ply between 2 cities, So around 60000 People.
plus there are cabs running = around 20000 People
So approx 100000 to 120000 people travel on average every day.

Now, i didnt say people need to use toilet at all stops. Did I? I mentioned it as a matter of convinience on a journey 3- 4 hrs long. I guess you wont have a problem understanding that frequency of locals between pune and mumbia wont be as great as between thane/kalya/ dadar... to cst. So if someone has to get off a train at a intermediate station and then have to catch the next train... its a hassel. And I am sure u are aware of IR guidelines wrt to toilets on trains. I never all people demand train for Pune CST coverage. Again you dragged it beyond the scope of my argument. Your AC/ DC argument might be the reason. Again, in my post i did not say anything with respect to any diffucalties about power required to push, strength of couplings between bogies........ anything. I...

bus takes 2-3 hours train(fastest take 3.15 hours dq/intercity)......improve ur knowledge
