This train can be extended till BGP as the rake is lying idle whole day. BGP arrival -- 9:00 AM
DEP BGP : 5:00 PM

With this kind of departure, it will become a late runner, as minimum maintenance time required is around 7 hrs, so if the train arrives a little late, then it will always depart late, then the extension will be of very little help to other passengers. Instead a new train must be started for Pune via Hwh from Bgp..
Since this is a CR train so secondary maintenance can easily be done at BGP. and for trains from HWH one does not get seats.
Look at 12873, its schedule arrival att ANVT is around 1400 hrs and departur from here as 12872 at 1900 hrs on the same day. Being a SER train, secondary maintenance also takes time and on each occassion when train atrrives late at ANVT, iska departure bhi late hota hai.
So practically, not possible to extend Pune patna to BGP.

even for 12141/42 its the same, it requires 6 hours at least, thats why its reacheduled from Patna as well as Delhi.. I think the secondary Maintenace is done for distance below 1500 Kms, but for above it the train is maintained at both ends.. Even the case of Sanghamitra can also be seen. Though its a south train, its rescheduled from Patna if it arrives after 1 PM, as 7 hours Maintenance is required at least before departure..
