IR blankets in ac classes are the very unhygienic. It will causes bubbles and rashes at the very odd places in the body.Please the avoid using it.

When the blanket is made of synthetic fibers and no cotton sheet covering it, this does happen. During Earthquake in 2001, we were given synthetic fiber blankets and I used it. Result was itching and rashes all over the body.
Then I got it covered by cotton sheet, and it works fine till now.
Please carry cotton sheets with you as standby help...

Everyone is feeling nostalgic when they remember Good old days of train travel.
It is not too far when we will be seeing Good old days return , if dirty linen and crap food continues to hound us.
One extra member travelling with us, carrying Food, water, and Bed spread to take care of our peaceful travel. And also keep awake in night so that no one steals our 'valuables'

That's y I don't use blankets while traveling in A/c.. I use only bedsheets / bed spreads.. No probs. More over I'm allergic to blankets
