To begin at the beginning Tushar, for the benefit of the uninformed like yours truly, WHO or WHAT are EMOTICONS ?
The ':P',':D',':)' we type turn into graphical faces showing varied emotions.

Sorry Mr. Tushar. I beg to disagree with you. This plain IRI look is its strength. This is not an overt social networking site though it precisely does that. I am not in favor of introducing such features like emoticons. Though emoticons and other such features are good and great in conveying one's feelings, the purpose of the site is to provide uncomplicated, as-up-to-date-as-possible info even to laymen and in the process of introducing such features, it should not lose sight of its main objective. Introduction of such things will make the site design too congested and give it a complicated look, literally unreadable.
