How can a express train be hauled by a WAG, doesn't the G stand for Goods?
A passenger train can be hauled by a WAP or a WAM or WCAM right?

HWH-ASR 13049/50 EXP IS THE ONLY TRAIN IN INDIA PULLED BY A WAG5E ENGINE. FROM HWH TO MGS. FROM THERE TO SRE A WDM3A/3D OR WDG ENGINE PULLS THE TRAIN. FROM SRE TO ASR AGAIN A WAG OR WAM PULLS THE TRAIN TILL ASR. VICE VERSA IN DN DIRECTION
but loco link is given as WAG 5 for this train from Pune -PNVL
yes its regular link is wag..and most special trains are hauled by wag 5/7
There is no hard and fast rule that WAG cannot pull a passenger train. They are used with trains which do not have aggressive TT.
