cr has announced special train on pune solapur bijapur bagalkot route also and pune miraj route is still ignored!!
Because, there are three State Cabinet Ministers and One Union Minister from Sangli &Miraj.
Guys from this region, what on earth are you doing. Take morchas to the offices of these people to make them work for you. Do something, rather than just complaining here. And yes please dont squat on railway tracks to protest and bother people on other trains. Various people are travelling for different purposes and sometimes for serious things like meeting a dying relative. So be sensitive about these things.
Guys, Do you know 25 to 30 percent reserved tickets of Pune Howrah exp, Pune Indore exp, Pune Patna exp, Pune Darbhanga exp and Pune to Chennai are booked from Miraj, Sangli, Belgaum, Kolhapur, Karad, Satara and other stations between Pune and Miraj. Still none of the trains are extended to Miraj. Every time, you have to change trains at Pune and waste your time. We have heard enough on blogs and sympathize with you. Now it is time to catch your great ministers from Sangli and tell them you need trains. Do not allow them to enter Sangli unless they start new trains for you.
where did u get the 25- 30% statistic? If its a report from a official Railway publication or news item please provide a link to the document. So when we drive their politicos away from sangli we have strong evidence. May be you could lead the protest since you are providing this info......
