population won't matters, but GDP wise VSKP is 10th city in india. Rich city needs a dedicated AC exp to delhi. But IR never cares vizag needs.
VSKP should be given a AC express or atleast a express which more aveage speed via BZA to NZM/NDLS. It should arrive early in the morning after Dakshin express at NZM/ NDLS and should start at night before Dakshin express
If the state is bifurcated and VSKP becomes the Capital,a "Rajdhani" is a dead certain conclusion and going by the political atmosphere,it could very well be possible but if things remain as they are then "Rajdhani" is not possible since it's a service connecting State Capital with National Capital barring a few exceptions.
Link - dakshin express should be de-linked from Dakshin and both trains should be made 24 coachers at leat..this way both VSKP and HYB will benefit a lot...delink exp should run via VSKP - BSP - NDLS..
RAJDHANI between DBRT and NDLS is there.DBRT is not capital .1. The link exp between VSKP -HNZM-VSKP should be made FULLFLEDGED train delinking it from DAKSHIN exp. SAMTA exp should be made DAILY instead of 5 day a week.
