If i have ticket till BCT in 12954 and alight at Andheri, do i need to purchase a local train ticket for Andheri to Bandra?
Is there a rule saying something about this?

He / she can travel in 1st class in local only if he / she has valid 1st class ticket of mail / express / Rajdhani / Shatabdi /Duronto. If he / she has AC 2 Tier / 3 Tier of any above trains then he / she has travel in 2nd class compartment of local.
u need to get an unreserved ticket from andheri to bandra. reserved tickets are train class and date specific and cannot be used for travel in different category/type of trains.
Yes, i am travelling in August Kranti today frm NAD to BCT 3A.
About to reach BVI.

@all, thanks for the replies... by the way, i was looking for something written clearly in rules, not as per logic...
He can travel in local upto BCT on the same date of travel. As per norms,it is allowed. But he can go only upto BCT.If he goes beyond BCT(Upto Churchgate) this ticket is not valid.
