Indian Railway has proposed to made Azamgarh Railway Station into Railway Junction by laying down 2 new tracks from Azamgarh as below;
1. Azamgarh-Baskhari-Jehangirpuri-Ambedkarnagar
2. Azamgarh-Mubarakpur
Once, these two projects gets completed, Azamgarh Station will become Junction. But the question is that, How much time it will take as survey has not yet been started.

there is 2 train end
1 is KAIFIYAT EXP

so why not one more ?

These people for Mumbai connectivity dont have to rely on BSB & LKO, as FD already having two set of trains for Mumbai along with daily AMH option!!
Further, Akbarpur nw have direct mumbai connectivity & hence traveler nearby will opt Akbarpur as option!!
The proposed link will open gateway for Tanda as long distance train service would expedite via Tanda & that doesnt mean just Mumbai connectivity...Kaifiyat can even route tht way to avoid reversal @ SHG...

Buddy, Barrackpore Exp dont get in washing line, as its TAT hardly is 2 hrs!!
Current washing line handles Kaifiyat for day & AMH Fast Pass for night...In case more train get induced frm AMH, scheduled to depart 10-11 PM, then too no separate washing line required, as its free after Kaifiyat departure!!
N i just asked not questioned its logic, as if 2nd wash line getting induced..

But what about the frequency of both these trains? these trains get automatically full within seconds and we have to depend on all these trains connecting towards BSB and LKO...
Automatic within seconds is totally washed out line...
