SRUR-KRMR-LPJL passenger train should/may be extended to metpally. since the track upto metpally completed in PDPL-NZB route. If this train is extended to metpally, passengers can directly travel from sirpur to metpally. There are no direct buses to metpally from Kagaznagar and Mancherial. It is very useful if it is extended. Similarly, The TPTY-KRMR train may be extended to Jagityal (LPJL). Since the train is reaching about 11.30 to KRMR and it has to leave at evening 19 hrs, So in meantime it can travel to jagityal (13.00) and return at (17.30) to KRMR (1900). This train also facilitating commuters of HYD-Bellampally IC train at PDPL to KRMR. The delay of IC helping them to catch this train at PDPL.
What is the progress of works from Metapally to Mortad and beyond?
Some patch works are in pending stage in between Metpally to Mortad specially a bridge on a river. little work is going on in between mortad and armoor. It may take two to three years to complete, since this works (PDPL-NZB) is pending from last 20 years.
I heard it is basically a agricultural land mostly with paddy and farmers are opposing the works beyond Armoor is it true.what is stage of bridge over the river?
It is not about the question of paddy land, it is very near to good towns (Mandals) like metapally, armoor, perkit, anksapur, dichpally, nizamabad, etc... and this land fetches more money. infact, they have started cultivating paddy and maize after this route is finalized subsequently irrigation and electricity facilities increased here, and now the farmers are saving the land by showing this reason and demanding more money from govt. Now it became a headache to the politicians. Common people are asking about completion of the line and landlords are opposing the same.
