RAILWAYS TO ELIMINATE LC's.
The IR have decided for gradual elimination of all the LC's for ensuring safety of the commuters in the coming years. IR has targeted to remove all the LC's on its route.The un-manned crossings will be removed by constructing LHS's, RUB's and ROB's.
The Rly official of NCR said, "This year, we have an ambitious target of constructing ROB's, RUB's/LHS's replacing the LC's and we are hopeful that using our resources we will able to achieve the target".

This news item is definitely good, as well as this post.
But Govt and IR are never giving the specific dates/ period to finish the job.
People too are not sure what to expect from this Govt.
