I booked a tatkal ticket for 30th october by this train from NZM till VSKP. The fare was 658 rupees (520 general fare + 138 tatkal charges). But due to some personal reasons i have to cancel it today morning. I got a refund of only 130 rupees. Even we calculate 75% cancellation charges then it comes to around 165 rupees. How is it done? Anyone please put some light..
Rs 520/4 = 130 ie 25 % of the actual train fare excluding tatkal charges
You will not be refunded the tatkal charges. So amount you have got is 520*25%
