. This region requires high speed train. Also why this region is neglected for doubling the railway line .

Details : Introduction of new trains, including Duronto Express, Shatabdi Express is an on-going process subject to traffic justification, operational feasibility, availability of resources, commercial viability, etc. At present, 13 pairs or Express trains are available between Jodhpur and Jaipur and is adequate for the present level of traffic. Jodhpur-Jaipur Express (daily) via Phulera has been announced in the railway budget 2013-14.
