that 75kmph too is not for entire stretch right?
so many speed restrictions in many parts as it travels in soft soil bed from tdpr till kille, then on cln bridge, etc. they should strengthen the track then allow trains to run 90kmph atleast.
in cl from mps is 110kmph bro. in some parts it s 100kmph. but in ml, only in tpj-tj it is 100kmph. if they increase the mps, 15 to 30 minutes of journey would be reduced.

yes absolutely right, they have to strengthen the track, but TDPR-PRT is not that much speed than CUPJ-CDM,solidly trains crosses within 50 min from CUPJ-CDM line, with restriction at parangipettai bridge.....
Porto nova and parangipettai both r same right?

PORT-O-NOVO is the olden days name of Parangipettai. The Rly. station is situated 3 km before Parangipettai at a village called "Agaram"on the road to Mutlur, which is in ECR. The "Vellar" river bridge is next bigger than Kollidam river bridge, both looks like same during MG era. The bridge is very next to Rly.station. Upto 10 yrs back, people used this bridge to cross the river as there is no other way but now there are 2 Road bridges in that region.
