Finished my office at 2:00 am and thought of taking a nap. Took a short nap until 4:20 am.
4:20 am:

I had set alarm for 4:30 am but I woke up 10 minutes early due to the curiosity to travel for the first time in JanShatabadi.
Brushed my teeth, freshened up and had one Chapathi with Peanut Butter to suppress the hunger. Hadn't got my luggage ready yet so got everything into one bag, and said "BYE..!" to my son and my wife.
5:05am
------- : Reached the Main Road. Not even single auto rickshaw seen. Crossed the railway gate at KDGH by foot and reached Ganapathi Temple circle. Engaged an Auto and reached the YPR station at 5:45 am.

--------Auto guy did not reduce from 140/- and played a little Drama by denying the fact that he had enough change to give me balance back from 200/-. I somehow got it done and rushed into the station at 6:00 am.

I see the 22617 YPR-TPTY intercity standing on PF #1, & announcement was made that 06591 Hosur passenger would depart from PF #1 too. Wondered how. Realized that the same was departing from the tailend of the PF #1.
I took the end of PF to walkonto PF2. And that's when i saw a KJM WDM2 hauling the rake of 56503 YPR-BZA Passenger onto PF 3 for it's departure at 8 am. But the lead link to haul it to it's destination was a GTL WDM2A which was linked on the other end.
The Announcement was made that 11022 Chalukya Express from TEN to CST is running ontime and would depart per it's schedule from PF #6.

Running late by 5 minutes the Hubli JanShatabadi from SBC arrived onto PF #2. As there was no Coach position Display on PF 2, I had to run to get into C1. A/C was functioning well. Seat was ok... But window was not clear to take pics and I had two more guys sitting beside me. Can't keep disturbing them every time. That's when I felt, a 2S sear might have done a much better job than a cool place in CC.

But the only problem could be.... if we get window seat in direction opposite to travel.....
Else JS CC is the bestin terms of speed in INtercities

Yeah I had to still go ahead and use it, as it was booked collectively for my family which did not travel. It was booked using Shubhyatra points. So cancelling a ticket means forfeiting 50% of points used. So thought of going ahead.
Will post the Report in parts since it's too lengthy...and eats up lot of time...if I do it at once.

Ok today, I received an SMS from SBI about Railway Points and it reads like this.
"As per ministry of Railways Cir. 22/01/13 Shubh Yatra Prog. on IRCTC SBI Card has been discontinued & redemption of existing 'Railway Points' is not permitted."
