if i miss my reserved confirmed train , can i complete my journey in next train leaving the same station , do i have to pay some charges and any formality to be completed before travelling
The reserved ticket (if card) can be cancelled at same station in PRS working hr with 50% deduction.other wise TDR an be obtained on the same station.If eTicket only TDR.
If connecting train left due to late running of 1st train ASM/SM can give written permission to continue.

Reserved tickets are valid only for the train it has been reserved. For other trains it will be treated as ticket less travel. However in genuine cases, where one misses the train, he can get an endorsement from the stations superintendent and travel in the next train in unreserved coach or if vacant berths are available even in reserved coaches also.
