Dear All, short summary of my trip. On, 16-Aug-2013, I had to go pick-up my wife from Panvel. I thought, let's make it enjoyable journey so plan for Vasai - Panvel DMU.
I started from Borivali home at 11 Am and took ticket of 25 Rs (via Dadar/wadala - 20 Rs) to Panvel. I took local virar train from borivali at11: 17 AM which came on platform around 11:24 AM. I got down at Vasai around 11:50 AM.

train. Train came around 12:03 on platform 6 from yard. Meanwhile one goods train came on Platform 7.
I got opposite window seat in fully mess train. It was very dusty and full of garbage on fl. Train started on time at 12:10 PM from vasai and I heard long horn followed by muddy WAP 7 carrying ADI-BCT DD with atleast 100 KMPH + speed. I was not able to took any snaps of DD and it crossed us less than 30 sec.
EMU train was 100 % full at vasai and had atleast 14 bogies (I didn't counted). That day it was EMU and not DMU. Train had 3 engine, I mean pantograph and 1st bogie of each pantograph was 1st class with ladies coach. All coaches were inter connected except pantograph coach. many coaches had wooden seats only with 10 % overhead fan not working.
Around 40% passenger got down at Bhiwandi and 20% got in. While 90% passenger, got down at Kopar. From Kopar to Panvel, there were hardly, 10 % passenger on train.
Till, panvel, I saw - LTT garibrath coming from Kerala with WDG3A and two goods train with WAG 9. It reached panvel at 1:50 PM.
