My current status is Waiting List 9 for a 3-tier AC berth for train 2979 leaving on 6th Nov. I am boarding at Surat. Does the augmentation of an AC coach mean that my ticket will be confirmed ? Please reply ASAP as I need to leave for my college anyhow on 6th itself.

One more query: A friend of mine whose waiting list number is W/L 10 in the same train will be boarding from Baroda ( Ticket from Baroda to Jaipur ). Will her ticket also get confirmed ?
In the extra coach, won't there be any quota limitations ?
