BANGALORE-BIDAR TRAIN CONNECTIVITY
The MG Track between SBC-GTL was convered to BG in 1983 which opened the gateway for connecting blore with noth karnataka districts.A day time passenger with train no.91/92 was introduced between SBC-GTL after gauge conversion which was later extended to HOSPET converting the same as overnight train to blore from hospet and bellary.After a persistent demand the train was extended to UBL.During Sri Jaffer Sheriff period as RM a link express was introduced to BIDAR with 91/92 Hampi exp with 8 coaches to be detatched at GTL to run as 91/A/92A hampi link between gtl-bidr,whcih incidentally became 16593/94.
