Kamayani Express - Late आना है काम तुम्हारा लेकिन मैं फिर भी हूँ तुम्हारा दीवाना - Aman

This train was started between Ajmer and Kolkatta initially after gauge conversion on Chittaurgarh – Ratlam section. This train was extended to Ahmedabad in this July. The train facilitated direct connectivity for people from Malwa (Mandasor, Neemuch) and Mewar (Chittaurgarh, Bhillwara, Beawar) with one of Indian Metro Cities. I am not sure why this train was extended to Ahemdabad in 2012-13 budget. Although route suggested by you will shorten the travelling time, the train will lose its purpose of serving few regions under represented till now on rail networks.

There is already a 19607/08 Ajmer Kolkata Express & 18009/10 Ajmer Santragachi Express present on the Route on which it runs.
Also Either one of them will Strictly follow the RTM-FTD-INDB Gauge Conversion Work So no Problem.
But From Ahmedabad to Kolkata With Such a very long route with so Much time taking is Just a waste of Money and time too.

Time taken is long because there are long stops for loco reversal at Ajmer, Ratlam etc. This five stops itself take 2 hours :40 Mins. I would argue that this train shall be given better loco to improve timings and halt duration can be shortened. I disagree that route for 18009 or 19607 will change post gauge conversion of RTM FTB INDB.

19607 and 18009 run through kota brka because there are many students who study in kota and its serve direct facility to them.
