What is the progress of electrification of Khana- Malda Town electrification??While travelling last week through this stretch I saw that poles were erected from Jhapater Dhal to Chatra.......except the Sainthia station...

1. Up to Pakur from Khana most of the work is complete... Leaving some stretches from Khana to Sainthia...
2. Pakur to Malda Town no work is being done...
3. Pakur to Malda Town probably falls under Project office New Jalpaiguri...

Expect electric loco to run in this stretch up to Pakur by next year[2014] end from Khana and Andal side...
