Today's The Hindu reports that Sri Kharge RM formally inaugurates double line work between Hosadurga road stn-chikkajajur Jn on Sept 8th at Hosadurga.
arsikere to birur is opened, but frm birur to chikjajur, its broken line.
Now double line is operational between arasikere and ajjampur i.e beyond birur. The distance between ajjampur-arasikere is 65 km.A distance of about 50 kms have to be doubled between ajjampur to chikkajajur jn. However the work between ajjampur and hosadurga road stn is going on.The distance between hosadurga road and chikkajajur jun is about 30 kms.
