Have a query. This train reaches mumbai at 21.40 hrs. Does this rake return in another 2 hrs from mumbai as the konkankanya express? If so, there is so little time for cleaning the bogies etc and if this reaches mumbai late,then konkankanya may also start late isnt it?
Mostly, such trains have an alternative rake, i.e the previous night's rake gets stabled here.
Yes, the same rake in a couple of hours returns to Madgaon as Konkan Kanya Exp. Only attendants clean up the AC coaches at CST. The whole train is cleaned once it reaches Madgaon the next morning. If Mandovi gets late konkan Kanya too, departs late from Mumbai CST.
