this has been discussed several times in the past with some heated discussion as well...updates, reupdates, over writing and editings and then i gave up...
i agree. the days of run is just one, so it should be written, the train runs on xx.yy.zzzz but at iri, people account for the days of run. suppose a train runs for 3 days from ndls to tvc, it will be written as "the train runs from 1st sep to 3rd sep" or something like that...though it may b a single run only...
