Last week travelled by this train from Thiruvannamalai to Villupuram along with FM Suresh reddy. TNM station is really very clean and well maintained.
Train arrived at 15:52 and departed at 15:55 almost 30 min late. Most of the coaches are new with 2012 made. Brand mark of SCR coaches are very neat and well maintained.
From D1 to D6 hardly there are 100 members. UR are well occupied. Had a nice run , by 16:45 we are venkatesapuram and its stopped there for 15 min. ...

nice report venkat,the only worry is slack time also 12 hrs journey coudlnt attracted the travellers,it should be 9 hrs journey then it will be huge hit,now a days people prefer train travel than bus travel,pamani is a real gift for delta towns and north tamilnadu but wasted the patronage of refusing halts to nanilam,vaideeswaran koil,tirupadripuliyur,panruti now polur has given halt for pamani exp,so hope patronage can improve a bit....
Thanks krish... I feel they should reduce the 2S coaches or convert them into general coaches which helps to people use whole train. Hope SCR thinks about.
i feel people are not comfortable to travel 12 hrs journey in chair car,if they reduce the running time then 2S will peak its demand more people will prefer reservation in pamani exp also they are not aware of low cost.....
