Is there any possibility of direct Route from Pune to Ahmednagar instead of via Daund Junction. It will reduce the journey time between these two station. So that people can do the daily UP/DOWN from Ahmednagar to Pune instead of permanently shifting to Pune. It will help to control to population of Pune, which is increased by migration to wards Pune.

then i wud suggest have a route from Ranchi till Ramgarh cantt also ..that too will save a lot of electricity and fuel rather than going via Muri...thode tunnels banane padenge but will reduce journey time...
The Ranchi - Barkakana - Koderma Line is already in construction (via Ramgarh) and the Tunnel / Bridge works have been completed already. Some portions of the Line through the ghat are pending. Probably next year this line will be commissioned.
