Important but always neglected route of IR
---->pune-satara-karad-sangli-miraj

but trains from UBL towards KYN/CST take this route right.. How it's underutlizied Sowmitra ji..
Still more trains to South can be run on this route to reduce the pressure of PUNE-SUR-WADI-GTL Mainline. The route has potential which CR needs to exploit.
Few trains take this route to mumbai & that trains also running alternatly weekly & bi-weekly.....
Also connectivity betn mumbai-kolhapur is poor, from last two decade only 3 trains running betn mumbai-kop.....no new superfast train........

With KSK scheduled to run for 2 more days to CDG, and UBL-LTT weekly express also slated in, situation will be bit better I guess
