I think pothigai express nwdays get GOC WDP4B as its link frm SCT to TPJ and same in return journey too... i saw it twice in vpt with goc wdp4b recently...i didnt take any photos...if any one having proper proof please upload it so that admin can update loco link...it seems nellai nd pothigai nt only shares rake...but also the locos...:-)
Yes - Due to failure of locos(WDM3) by pothigai from SCT - MDU in recent times , a nice move by railways to replace WDM3 with WDP4B series - also WDM3 is not as good as WDP4 series for hauling 24 coaches which lead to failure of WDM3 locos enroute
