A option for PAID UPGRADE, shall be provided at the time of booking.
For instance, Mr.A wish to travel in 3AC but position in 3AC is waitlist and in Sleeper tickets are available and Mr.A books Sleeper. Now, on form Mr.A should be given a option of PAID UPGRADE, which means he agrees to pay difference between 3AC and sleeper to travel in 3AC. Now, on chart preparation if seats are available in 3AC, instead of random upgradation of passenger, Mr.A will be upgraded and he will pay the difference to TC.
