more... is a video that would never happen under normal circumstances. Seen here is my 12921 WAP 5 30056 hauled Flying Ranee runnning parallel and eventually overtaking the 12216 Bandra Terminus - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Garib Rath! This is perhaps the only video of the Flying Ranee overtaking a Garib Rath! The loco in charge of the Garib Rath was a Ratlam WDM 3A #18740
While the DEE Garib Rath was running 5 hours late, the Flying Ranee was on schedule. Also, the Flying received priority here as it is on the congested main line. The Garib Rath is however on the STA (Suburban Traffic Avoidance) line.
The Garib Rath chased the Ranee till Borivali where again the on time Ranee was given the go ahead and had an amazing run till its next halt Palghar where the mighty Queen was put on the loop to let the GR overtake her and logically so..
The next stop for the Flying Rane is Dahanu Road, just 30 odd kilometres away while the scheduled halt for the GR is Surat!
