Chord enroute with the 2 hours late running 12332 Jammu Tawi (JAT)- Howrah (HWH) Tri- Weekly HIMGIRI Superfast Express.
A lot of thanks to railfan Dwaipayan Sinha, who was on- board the train, and kept us updated about the link. According to him, the GD beast pulled the 24 coaches load all the way from Jammu Tawi to Mughal Sarai. But just after departing from Mughal Sarai, the loco encountered some problem. So the train was reversed back to the station, and the ET alco was coupled to give a helping hand to the struggling GD beast.
The train follows the Jammu Tawi- Chakki Bank- Jalandhar- Ludhiana- Ambala- Saharanpur- Moradabad- Bareilly- Lucknow- Sultanpur- Varanasi- Mughal Sarai- Danapur- Patna- Jha Jha- Jasidih- Asansol- Burdwan- Howrah route of NR/ ECR/ ER, and takes 36h 30m to cover 2020 kms with 30 halts.
