Journey To Matheran
A very good morning to all iri members and admins
i m presenting my very short trip to Matheran
I and my family wake up early in the morning at around 4:00
and...
more... some how we manage to board the 5:21 local from BYR
at around 6:15 we reached at DDR,and from there we went to central,
and after waiting some time and catch the live action of tapovan express,we board the 6:30,fast karjat local from DR....
at around 8:00...we reach at Neral....
and as we know tht there is no direct train from Neral-Matheran because of monson sesion..
we take a private cab from neral(70 rs each) to Dasturi(a place where we have to pay the Capitalization tax to proceed),and after tht we purchase the ticket from Aman Lodge to Matheran(40 rs each) and they give the seat no also...a kind of reservation they do....
and from Aman lodge the train departing @ 9:30 to matheran and within15-20 mnts we reach matheran
