Konkan railway fans can help me out... I have already booked friday and sunday night tickets in this train...
Both the places are nice....in my opinion go to tarkarli, Malwan......u can see sindhudurga fort, very famous ganesh temple build by jayant salgaonkars(KALNIRNAY), tarkarli backwater sports, also u can stay at hous boat, malwan market very famous for local konkani(malwani) foods....

Yes u will get veg food..... but no idea about Jain food.....actully these area is famous for coastal food....search on net if any hotel available for jain food at Malwan city or tarkarli....
