A 30 min save in the current scenario of IR is a big thing. BSR is ideal for loco sharing with trains out of BCT and loco idle time can be reduced.

There are so many instances in IR of DUW (Diesel Under Wires). Just because a line is electrified does not mean allocation of electric link. It depends on loco availability, allocation, loco sharing, etc.
