This Train has become a place for pick pocketers & anti social elements.During last 2/3 months a gang of around 20-25 people board the train near Burdwan Jn around 1 AM in the night and do pickpocketing using blades in every coach including AC2/3 and all 6 SL coaches. The gang usually gets down aroung bandel Jn may be by chain pulling. Frequent travellers have lost lot of money in these.
One fact is that there is no police person GRP etc travells in the train. Passengers safty & security is at the mercy of such anti social elements.

really very sirius matter of concern.it is general rule that if any train is passing in nite on any section the GRP party is asign on permanent basis.it seems that they are not performing.
another fact is because the train is coming from indo-nepal border so lots of nepali origin passengers are using train thus making good target for cons.
Please do write a letter to DRMs of ASN/HWH and GM of ER regarding this problem.

Better write a paper letter so a permanent file can be created at office.no officer can ignore such file for long period.
