can they run with 2 locos one in front and another in rear from TVC till ERS , like sapthagiri express ? This avoids loco reversal at ERS.
But again when TVC bound Kerala exp arrives at ERS, time will be lost for attaching loco at ERS towards SRR end. Similarly time will be lost for detaching TVC end loco at ERS for NZM bound Kerala Express
both options are not practical.. the best way to re-route via ERN and not via ERS..
