In case any vacant berths, u can change u r berth from 3A to 2A by paying diff. in fare, for which he will give receipt.. I changed once from SL to 3A and paid d diff. in fare, for which TTE gave receipt...Now I travel in 3A during nights ( incase if I travel alone )
Auto upgradation is done during chart preparation w/o any extra money. During your journey you can upgrade your class of travel if there is vacancy in upper class and by paying the adjusted fare.
yes u can ask TT and pay the difference and get upgraded if seats available in upper class
