KrishMV~ 7493 blog postsi was travelled in this train on last monday, also observed the MPS increase in vm-kpd line,this train just covered 68kms between VM-TNM in 1 hr and 25 mins departed 16.35 at VM and arrived TNM at 18.00 pm sharply, the entire run was superb, it ran like an express train all coaches were decently crowded i'd thought how important this train for students, employees working in govt,vendors....

yes ji, after electrification SR planned to increase MPS upto 110kmph, but as of npw i am satisfied with the speed the way GOC WDM 2 pulls just awesome for an passenger train, pamani regularly covering this distance in 70 mins, 17414 covering in 68 mins ji.....
Yes... It was very useful/important for everybody... VM-KPD section deserves more trains...
i guess after electrification at least 20 trains will run daily.....
In the future these trains r possible in the VM-KPD stretch fm Bangalore:Puducherry-Bangalore ICE, Villupuram-Bangalore Passenger...
this one also Bangalore-Mailaduthurai/Cuddalore for Delta people....
