I am planning to go to lonavala from delhi via sec'bad. I am planning to go by bangalore rajdhani till sec'bad and from there with my friends to lonavala in mumbai express. My doubt is is it risky to catch mumbai express. Planning to catch mumbai express from lingampalli station. Bangalore rajdhni reach sec'bad at 6:30pm and the connecting train at lingampally is around 9pm. Is there any risks involved?? please guide. Also please tell any good budget hotels in lonavala. I am planning my trip in february. Please guide me...
Thanks in advance...

Hyderabad or Begumpet are very near to Secunderabad. If your friends are boarding at Lingampalli then let them do so. But for you it makes more sense in boarding it either at Hyderabad or Begumpet.

And relating to the last point of hotels in Lonavala. This can be searched on the web and there are plenty of them. Good place to visit.

better take a mmts train and board the mumbai express at begumpet, because from sec'bad to begumpet u can reach in 15 min by mmts train, half hour by road

The frequency of MMTS to Lingampally/BMT is more than that to HYB. So BMT/Lingampally would be a better choice. You can go to platform 7 at Secunderabad and purchase the MMTS tickets in the station itself
