armaan776 782 blog postsToday I witnessed one of greatest recovery by any train. I'm writing the facts as witnessed today by me from my journey from Ludhiana to Delhi. The train arrived at Ludhiana at 2:20 PM 90mins late from the scheduled time. It then departed from LDH at 2:25 PM with only 5 mins stoppage then the schedule of 10 mins. It then arrived at Ambala Cantt at 4:00 PM after stopping for nearly 10 mins at the outer. It then departed from there after 10 mins i.e. at 4:10 PM with stoppage time less than scheduled at Ambala Cantt of 15 mins. It then ran non-stop till Delhi at staggering speeds with crossing several passenger trains & also 11058 Dadar Express at UMB and 12920 Malwa Express at Karnal to reach there by 6:30 PM 10 mins late than the scheduled time. Kudos to NR controllers who gave this train top priority. Nevertheless astonishing run.
Even i have some good experiences with this train. Once it started sharp at 1:00. Reached Ambala 10 minutes before time. Then reached Delhi almost 45 minutes before time. I was surprised to see Kalka Shatabdi just left new delhi and crossed this train at Pul Bangash (Juncture near Sabzi Mandi). It took almost 4:30 hours to reach Delhi from Ludhiana
