I wanted travel in "General Compartment" in this train from Jammu Tawi to Kanyakumari... How much is the fare?

if u r serius in this do the following.
1. Take at least 10kgs dry foods ,20 liter drinking water and 25 liter general water (for emergency toilet purpose) with you.
2.Atleast 2 or 4 friends with you. to play caram/playing cards .. so nd so..
3.Keep At least 100 one rupee coins with u (to give beggers).

How do you position a carrom board in a general compartment? Even a game of is a tough proposition.
It have more halting times at some stations like NDLS, E-rode and also expected/unexpected crossing wait for other superfast trains.
